Frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Findigo, job search and prepared applications.

Guides: profile, matching and applications

How do I find .NET jobs with Findigo?

Findigo is a Swedish job agent for many occupations, including .NET developers. Upload your CV or describe your experience and the role you want. Include C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Azure and SQL only when you actually have those skills. Findigo uses your profile and preferences to find and rank relevant jobs. You can also ask the agent to find .NET jobs for you. In review mode, you review the application and click Submit.

Which .NET skills should I include in my CV?

Include only technology you have actually used and explain the context, such as C#, .NET or .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Azure and SQL. Distinguish between employment, education and personal projects. Add your preferred role, location and work arrangement. You do not need every skill in the list, and Findigo must never add experience simply because a job ad mentions it.

What does the match score mean?

The match score is Findigo's assessment of how well your profile fits the job. It is not the employer's rating or a guarantee of an interview or employment. Skills, experience and job preferences help Findigo prioritize. A 90 percent match does not mean a 90 percent chance of getting the job. Ask the agent to explain a specific match using your profile and the job ad; if evidence is missing, it must say so.

How does Findigo's Chrome extension work?

Findigo's Chrome extension helps prefill application forms on external job sites with information from your profile and CV. You need a Findigo account and a compatible desktop browser. In review mode, you review the information and click Submit. Support varies between forms; sign-in, CAPTCHA or questions only you can answer may require your help. A filled form is not a submitted application.

Does the extension work on every job site?

No. Support varies between job sites and forms. Findigo can prefill supported fields but cannot promise that every field or submission will work. The extension runs on desktop in Chrome, Edge or Brave. Sign-in or CAPTCHA may require you. Findigo must distinguish between a prepared application, a submission in progress and verified delivery.

How does Findigo help me as an active job seeker?

Findigo uses your profile to find relevant jobs, reuses information you have verified and helps prepare your next application. Say which role you want and which requirements must match. If your CV and preferences are already available, you should not need to provide them again. In review mode, you review the application and click Submit.

Do I need to rewrite my CV for every application?

No. A core CV can be reused. Findigo can help highlight relevant, factual experience for a job without inventing credentials. Information you have already provided should be reused. Review the version that will be sent; a skill in a job ad never automatically becomes your experience.

How do I look for a new job while employed?

Describe your next role and your most important requirements to Findigo, and reuse your existing CV. The agent helps find relevant opportunities and prepare the application. In review mode, you check the employer, content and attachments and click Submit. If crucial information is missing from the job ad, Findigo must say so.

Can Findigo guarantee that my employer will not see my job search?

No. Findigo cannot guarantee that your current employer will never learn about your job search. Tell the agent which employers to avoid and check the recipient of each application. In review mode, you review and click Submit. How a recipient handles an application is not fully within Findigo's control.

How does Findigo help me change careers?

Findigo can compare your actual experience with current ads for adjacent roles and explain both transferable experience and skill gaps. Describe the direction you want to explore; if your CV is already available, it should be reused. Titles, qualifications and credentials must not be invented. If a job requires a licence or qualification you lack, that must be clear.

Can Findigo help me apply for my first job?

Yes. Education, internships and personal projects can be evidence when they accurately describe what you have done. Say what kind of job you want. Findigo can compare your background with job requirements, but it must not turn a course project into employment or promise that you can get a specific job without experience.

How do I find jobs with the right hours and location?

Tell Findigo which locations, working hours and scope are essential. You can search for several kinds of work within the same constraints. The agent must use information in the job ad and distinguish confirmed conditions from unknowns. Full-time does not automatically mean daytime, and hybrid does not mean fully remote. Your requirements must not be silently broadened.

Can I use Findigo when applying from my phone?

Yes, Findigo's website works on mobile. The Chrome extension, however, requires a compatible desktop browser. The available application path must be checked for the specific job. Findigo must not promise that the extension works on a phone or that every application can be completed on mobile.

About Findigo

What is Findigo?

Findigo is a Swedish job agent that gathers vacancies from multiple sources, matches them to your profile and prepares applications using your information. Findigo helps across many occupations, including developer roles. In review mode, you review the application and click Submit.

Is Findigo free?

Yes. Findigo has a free tier with daily job matches and job search. Pro (SEK 199 per month, with a 7-day free trial) adds unlimited access, co-pilot help to prepare applications on selected sites while you click Submit, and the Career Assistant.

What kinds of jobs are available on Findigo?

Findigo gathers more than 100,000 jobs across industries in Sweden, not only tech and office roles. Healthcare, social work, construction, transport, manufacturing, retail, finance, law, design, IT and more are covered in the Industries directory. Listings include permanent roles and consulting assignments, mainly in Sweden, plus some international remote knowledge-work roles.

What are job preferences?

Job preferences describe what you want from your next role: role, industry, location, work arrangement such as on-site, hybrid or remote, and salary expectations. Findigo uses them to rank and filter recommendations. You can manage them under My profile.

How is Findigo different from other job sites?

Findigo gathers jobs from dozens of Swedish sources in one place and matches them to your profile and CV instead of making you search manually. With Pro, Findigo can prepare application forms on selected sites. In review mode, the default, you review and click Submit. If you enable Autopilot, Findigo submits automatically within the limits you set.

How do I save a job?

Select the heart icon on a job card to save it. Saved jobs are available under Saved or through the Career Assistant by asking for your saved jobs.

How often are job listings updated?

Findigo fetches new listings from dozens of Swedish sources several times a day. Most listings are updated within 24 hours. Each job card shows the listing's publication date.

How can I improve my matches?

Applications

What is Direct Apply?

Direct Apply is Findigo's application feature. Instead of completing every career-site form manually, Findigo fills supported forms with your information on selected sites. In review mode, the default, you review and click Submit. If you enable Autopilot, Findigo submits automatically within the limits you set.

How do I apply for a job with Findigo?

When you find a relevant job, select Apply. Findigo fills supported forms with your name, email, phone number, CV and cover letter from your profile. In review mode, the default, you review and click Submit. If you enable Autopilot, Findigo submits automatically within the limits you set.

What happens when I say 'apply to all for me'?

Your explicit command is the confirmation, so Findigo does not request another approval for every application. It reuses material that is already prepared, including a CV Findigo has finished, submits applications that can be submitted automatically, and reports exactly what was sent, what is being processed and what needs you. Findigo only asks for help when a human is genuinely required, such as an unsupported external site, sign-in, CAPTCHA or a question only you can answer.

Can I apply with my LinkedIn account?

Yes. Sign in with LinkedIn to import your name and email automatically. Direct Apply uses LinkedIn data to complete forms correctly, including separate first-name and last-name fields where required.

Which ATS platforms support Direct Apply?

Findigo supports a growing number of recruitment platforms and career sites. The supported set is expanded continuously.

Can I add a CV and cover letter?

Yes. Upload your CV as a PDF under My profile. It improves matching and is attached automatically by Direct Apply. You can also save cover letters and choose which one to include with an application.

How does Direct Apply work?

Direct Apply fills the employer's recruitment form with your name, email, phone number, CV and cover letter on selected sites. You review the form and click Submit. The application goes directly to the company. Nothing is sent unless you say yes.

Can I change a submitted application?

No. An application cannot be changed after it has been submitted. To correct something, you can submit a new application or contact the company directly with the correction.

Why am I not hearing back about my applications?

Recruiters run their own processes, so response times and policies vary. Some companies reply immediately, some wait until applications close, and some contact only candidates who progress. If you have not heard back and remain very interested, contact the company directly by phone or email.

Can I choose which CV is sent?

Yes. During Direct Apply, you can select which uploaded CV to send with that application. This lets you tailor each application without changing your default profile.

Where can I see my submitted applications?

Applications submitted through Findigo appear under Applications, with their status, date and job. You can also ask the Career Assistant for your applications to get a quick summary.

CV and profile

Which CV file formats are supported?

Findigo supports PDF CVs. PDF preserves the layout for viewing and Direct Apply. The maximum file size is 5 MB.

Can I have more than one CV?

Yes. You can upload and name multiple CVs under My profile, for example Technical role CV and Leadership CV. During Direct Apply, choose the CV to send with that application.

How do I update my profile?

Open My profile from the navigation menu. You can edit your name, contact details, skills, preferred role and location. Changes are saved immediately and affect future matches.

How do I honestly answer when I'm missing a requirement?

State clearly which requirement you don't meet. Then highlight related experience you actually have and, if true, how you could close the gap. Never answer yes to a mandatory requirement you lack; for things like a license, work permit or certification, say so plainly.

How do I describe a career change in my CV?

Start with the role you're applying for and the transferable skills your real experience shows. Keep titles and dates accurate, but prioritize achievements relevant to the new direction. A short profile summary can explain the bridge without rewriting your history or inventing credentials.

How do I write about a gap in my CV without making things up?

State the period factually and briefly if it needs explaining, for example studies, parental leave, caregiving or job searching, but only when it's true. You don't need to justify every month. Focus on what you can contribute now and keep dates, roles and activities completely accurate.

Pro and billing

How do I cancel Pro?

Open Settings and select Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect on the next billing date. You keep all Pro features until the paid period ends.

What happens when my Pro period ends?

When Pro ends, your account changes to the free plan automatically. You keep your account and history, but Direct Apply and Autopilot are disabled. You can upgrade again at any time.

Can I try Pro for free?

Yes. Pro includes a 7-day free trial through Stripe. After the trial, Pro costs SEK 199 per month with no commitment period. The free plan remains free and includes daily matches and job search.

How is Pro billed?

Pro is billed monthly. SEK 199 is charged automatically each month until you cancel. A receipt is sent to your registered email address.

Autopilot

What is Autopilot?

Autopilot is a Pro feature that applies to matching jobs for you in the background. You set your role, location and employment preferences, and Autopilot finds and submits applications while you do other things. Submitted applications appear under My applications.

How do I set up Autopilot?

Open Settings and select Autopilot. Add the roles, locations and employment types Autopilot should search for. You can set a maximum number of applications per day and pause Autopilot at any time.

How do I stop Autopilot?

Open Settings and select Autopilot, then select Pause or Turn off. Applications already submitted are not affected.

Notifications and email

How do I turn off email notifications?

Open Settings and select Email notifications. You can turn off individual or all email categories, including matches, reminders and newsletters. Essential account messages, such as password resets, are always sent.

Why am I receiving email from Findigo?

Findigo sends email about new job matches, saved-job reminders and account changes. Choose exactly which email categories you want under Settings and Email notifications.

Account and security

How do I create an account?

Go to findigo.se and select Create account. You can register with Google, LinkedIn or email. Then upload your CV or complete your profile to start receiving matches.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Findigo uses Supabase for secure data storage with encryption at rest and in transit. Your personal data is never shared with a third party without your consent. See the privacy policy for details.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings and select Delete account. A deleted account cannot be restored, all information connected to your applications is removed, and recruiters may have difficulty contacting you afterwards. If you only want a break, turn off all email under Settings instead. You can then sign in again with the same email address. An inactive account receives no alerts, job suggestions or matches.

How do I reset my password?

Select Forgot password on the sign-in page and enter your email address. We send a reset link that is valid for 24 hours. If you signed in with Google or LinkedIn, there is no separate Findigo password; use the same sign-in method again.

Why do I need to sign in?

Your account connects your profile, preferences, CV and application history. Signing in ensures only you can view and edit your information, and allows matching to improve as you use the service.

Can I change my email address?

Yes. Open Settings and select Email address. Enter the new address and confirm it through the link sent there. If you signed in with Google or LinkedIn, your email is controlled by that service.
