2027 Accounting & Finance Development Program

Qualifications: Must have completed a bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 – August 2027.  Successful completion of at least three accounting courses (each with 3 credit hours) by the time of graduation, with one of the courses being focused on cost or managerial accounting.  Proven capability to effectively communicate within work and/or academic environments, adapting messaging to suit diverse audiences.  Demonstrated utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in both academic and professional settings.  Demonstrated leadership experience within a school or student organization setting.  Willingness to relocate outside of Lake County IL for 1 to 2 six-month rotation(s).  Must submit unofficial or official transcript at time of application.  Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.  Preferred Qualifications: Dual major or minor in a related field is a plus.  Experience in effectively utilizing systems and tools to visualize and present data in a meaningful way.  Exposure or proficiency in handling data analysis and ability to perform robust analytics and predictive modeling with ease.  Completion of an accredited Excel or data visualization tool certificate program or course.  Capability to blend technical and business knowledge and supplement it with analytical expertise and innovative problem-solving skills.  Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects within a work and/or academic environment, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.  Proven track record of working collaboratively in teams, being adaptable, innovative, proactive, and maintaining high ethical standards.  Cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.  About AbbVie AbbVie's mission is to discover and deliver innovative medicines and solutions that solve serious health issues today and address the medical challenges of tomorrow.
