The Accounting Officer plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with group financial policies and local regulatory requirements. The role supports effective financial management through attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to excellence. You are the first point of contact for the Norwegian affiliate and the right hand of the Accounting Manager covering the cluster of Sweden/Denmark/Finland/Norway. Although your main responsibility resides with the Norwegian affiliate accounting, your office location is in Solna Sweden where you will join the Accounting Manager of the cluster, the Accounting Officer of Sweden, the Procurement Officer and members of the cluster FP&A team. Main tasks and responsibilities as Accounting Officer Manage month-end and year-end closing activities for the Norwegian entity in collaboration with our global shared services (MGS) teams in Poland Ensure accurate bookings, accruals, reconciliations, and allocations to cost and profit centers Be a key point of contact for external and internal audit matters Support tax and legal compliance processes, including VAT, and other statutory declarations Contribute to the credit collection process of the cluster Evaluate internal systems, controls, and risks, and provide recommendations for improvement Contribute to Nordics and global process optimization projects Support the FP&A team with financial transparency, reporting, and follow-up Qualifications and experience We are looking for someone with a Bachelor´s degree in economics and with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You have a strong accounting foundation, with proven experience in closing periods, balance sheet ownership, statutory and tax reporting. You know Norwegian accounting principles and are able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. You are skilled in in Excel and experience working with SAP is an advantage. The role requires very good knowledge of English, both written and verbal.
