We are now looking for an AI Platform Engineer/Architect on the behalf of our client. Background: Introduction to Geely Technology Europe is Geely Auto Group’s unified European research and development organisation, formed by integrating its long-established engineering hubs in Gothenburg and Frankfurt. The Gothenburg organisation carries a strong heritage as China Euro Vehicle Technology (CEVT) founded in 2013, and later Zeekr Technology Europe, while the Frankfurt center has operated as the Lotus Tech Innovation Centre (LTIC GmbH), bringing with it a legacy of engineering excellence tied to one of Europe’s most respected performance and innovation brands. Today, Geely Tech EU brings these complementary capabilities together to strengthen Geely’s global vehicle development, embedding European regulatory and customer requirements from the outset. The organisation drives next-generation vehicle architectures, digital technologies, and intelligent systems for international markets, and supports brands including Zeekr, Lynk & Co, and Geely. Assignment Description: You will serve as an EU AI Platform Engineer / Architect , responsible for owning the EU-side architecture, deployment, and adaptation of Geely’s agentic AI platform. EU deployment & IT interface - Deploy and operate platform services on approved EU cloud infrastructure in collaboration with Cloud/DevOps and EU IT. - Own the technical aspects of the IT operating-level agreement (provisioning, IAM, network, incident escalation). - Ensure compliance with EU data-residency, retention, and cross-border transfer requirements. - Integrate platform services with EU enterprise systems (identity providers, internal APIs, document/data platforms). Data & knowledge integration - Define secure connector patterns for Big Data & Knowledge Database Services (vector search, enterprise search, knowledge graph). - Partner with Data/Knowledge Engineering on retrieval quality and access-control requirements. Enablement & technical leadership - Provide reusable patterns, SDKs, and architecture reviews to EU application teams. - Maintain the build–adapt–reuse decision framework for EU use cases. - Mentor and unblock application engineers on platform integration issues. Expected outcomes within the first 6 months: Approved and documented EU platform reference architecture aligned with China R&D. Core platform services deployed in EU cloud with baseline observability and security controls. At least one EU application team building on reusable platform patterns rather than one-off integrations. Established IT operating agreement and China–EU architecture review cadence.
