AI Platform Engineer

We are super excited to announce that our IT Manager Olivia Ivkovic is looking for an AI Platform Engineer to join Voyado’s Information Technology team. At Voyado, becoming an AI-native company is one of our biggest strategic priorities. We’re building AI into the way we work — not as a side project, but as part of our internal infrastructure — with the goal of making AI genuinely useful across the organization through smart integrations, reliable tooling, automation and scalable internal platforms. This is not a traditional AI Engineer role focused on training models or building customer-facing AI products. Instead, you’ll work close to cloud infrastructure, integrations, internal tooling and applied AI — helping build the technical foundation that enables AI usage across the company. About the role Information Technology at Voyado owns Claude Enterprise and ChatGPT company-wide. We are not waiting for a separate AI team to hand us something to run — we are building the platform, integrations and tooling ourselves. As AI Platform Engineer, you’ll sit at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, systems integration and applied AI. A large part of the role is about connecting systems, enabling workflows and building reliable internal AI capabilities that people across Voyado can actually use in their daily work. This is a hands-on builder role. You’ll work with APIs, integrations, orchestration, internal tooling and automation across systems such as Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Slack, Jira and cloud platforms in Azure and AWS. Some of the things you'll be up to: - Building and maintaining AI solution on top of the internal AI platform and integration layer - Connecting AI tools to internal systems, data sources and workflows - Developing internal AI assistants and automations that reduce manual work - Working with APIs, orchestration frameworks, RAG patterns and data pipelines - Improving scalability, reliability, security and governance across AI tooling - Collaborating with Information Security and Cloud CoE on standards and architecture - Experimenting with new AI capabilities and moving valuable ideas into production So, who are you? We’re not looking for someone who has already done this exact role before — the space is evolving too quickly for that. What matters most is that you have a strong technical foundation, enjoy solving systems problems and are genuinely curious about how AI can be applied in practice. You’re probably someone who naturally thinks in integrations, workflows and infrastructure rather than isolated tools. You enjoy connecting systems, automating repetitive work and building solutions that are both practical and scalable. We believe you likely have experience with several of the following: - Cloud infrastructure in Azure and/or AWS - APIs, integrations and event-driven architectures - Writing production-grade code, not just scripts - Internal tooling, automation or platform engineering - Data pipelines, structured/unstructured data and RAG patterns - Identity and access management in Microsoft environments such as Entra ID / Azure AD We also think you: - are curious about AI and actively experiment with new tools and workflows - move fast while still building things others can maintain and understand - are comfortable working without fully defined requirements - think proactively about security, governance and operational reliability - enjoy building things that make other people’s work easier What's in it for you?
