Analysis Engineer - Coating, Adhesives & Sealants

For our client Volvo Cars we are looking for an Analysis Engineer - Coating, Adhesives & Sealants . Surface Treatment Centre is our global analysis and verification centre for Surface Treatment materials within Volvo Car Group. We work with all from car body analysis with focus on corrosion to complete vehicle exterior colour matching. We also support running production with analyses when disturbances occur and often participate in international and national research projects. Our technical expertise consists of pre-treatment, exterior paint systems, corrosion protection, sealing materials, sound damping materials and body adhesives. In this role, you will belong to the group Coating, Adhesives & Sealants. As part of a team your main responsibilities will be planning, performing and reporting analyses and tests on different types of metal&plastic substrates and coating systems. Working as an analysis engineer within surface treatment means that you will establish and develop relationships with a variety of system areas and customers globally. You will develop testing and analysis skills, including use of different instruments and equipment. Requirements • B.Sc in Chemistry/Materials Engineering • Good theorethical knowledge and practical experience in the surface treatment area • Fluent in English (written and spoken) • Experience in testing and lab environment Personal qualities • Structured way of working and results driven • Positive attitude and engaged • A team player but at the same time self-driven • Service minded and flexible • Enjoy a variety of tasks! • Customer and Quality focused • You are proactive and have a great sense of responsibility PLEASE NOTE!
