Analyst, Healthcare M&A

responsibilities: Assist in collecting and analysing financial and commercial data to support transaction conclusions. Preparation of company profiles and detailed market mapping to support deal origination and strategic analysis. Contribute to drafting information memoranda and marketing materials, focusing on financial and numerical evidence. Support the design and review of integrated operating models using best practices. Help prepare client presentations, including credential packs and business development materials. Assist in valuing public and private companies through methodologies including comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, discounted cash flow (DCF), and leveraged buyout (LBO) modelling, under the guidance of senior team members. Conduct research on healthcare and pharma sectors, companies, and potential buyers. Effective prompting and developing practical agentic workflows to enhance research, analysis, drafting and execution efficiency, while maintaining rigorous quality control, confidentiality and sound professional judgement. Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in M&A with strong deal exposure. Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and valuation theory. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Familiarity with research tools such as S&P Capital IQ, MergerMarket, and GainPro is a plus. ACA, CFA or equivalent qualification of advantage. Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
