About the position Klarna’s teams make decisions every day about what to change in checkout, which customers to approve, and where to spend marketing budget. Each of those decisions needs someone who can say what the data shows and how far it can be trusted. As an Analyst, you’ll be that person for the team you join. You’ll start from a business question, find the data that answers it, and bring back a result that someone can act on. What you’ll do You’ll write SQL to answer questions from the teams you support, from a quick count to an analysis across several large tables. You’ll build and maintain dashboards and reports that teams use to track their own metrics. You’ll investigate when a metric moves unexpectedly and report the cause, not only the change. You’ll present findings to product, risk, or business stakeholders and recommend a specific next step. You’ll check data sources for errors and flag quality issues to the teams that own them. You’ll use AI tools in your analysis work and share what works with the people around you. Who you are You’ve spent 1–3 years working as an analyst or in a similar position, turning data into answers that a team acted on. You write SQL regularly to pull, join, and clean data. You’ve built dashboards or reports in a BI tool such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI. You explain a result, and its limits, in plain language to people who don’t work with data. You check your own numbers before sharing them, and you say so when the data can’t support a conclusion. You ask which decision an analysis is meant to inform before you start building it. Awesome to have You’ve used Python or R for analysis that goes beyond what SQL covers. You’ve designed or analyzed A/B tests. You’ve used AI tools to speed up analysis work, and you can show an example. You’ve worked in payments, banking, or e-commerce.
