Angular / React Developer (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Angular or React Developer to join a major customer complaints and remediation programme within a leading UK financial services organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a customer-facing web portal that allows customers to securely review complaint outcomes, accept or decline offers, and verify or update bank details where required. This is a greenfield development opportunity working closely with cloud engineers, backend developers, architects, and business stakeholders. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract (FTC) with an immediate start preferred. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain customer-facing web applications using Angular or React and TypeScript. Build responsive, secure and user-friendly interfaces based on existing designs and business requirements. Integrate applications with REST APIs, authentication services and workflow platforms. Implement customer authentication journeys including OTP and multi-factor authentication. Support secure handling and processing of customer data, PII and bank account information. Collaborate with business, UX, product and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment and release activities. Contribute to frontend architecture, technical design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
