We are currently looking for a driven and detail-oriented Controller/Economist to join an ambitious team at a forward-thinking company in growth. About the role In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring sound financial control and supporting strategic decision-making. You will work closely with management, finance, and other departments to analyze financial performance, forecast future trends, and improve internal processes. This is a hands-on and strategic role, perfect for someone who enjoys balancing daily operations with high-level analysis. You will be part of a small but growing team with room to take ownership, influence how things are done, and grow into a more senior role over time. What you will be doing Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Cash flow monitoring and planning Supporting business decisions with financial modeling and KPIs Working with auditors and ensuring regulatory compliance Improving and automating financial processes and tools Participating in strategic and cross-functional projects We believe you have A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent 2–5 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., controller, financial analyst, or accountant) Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.) Experience working with accounting and/or ERP systems An analytical mindset and attention to detail Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English It’s a plus if you have experience from a fast-paced environment, SaaS, or project-based business models.
