Associate Director, State Policy

You will support the development and execution of a strategic state policy agenda and identify emerging trends that can influence advocacy and policy campaigns. The position combines policy analysis, strategic advising, partner engagement, technical assistance, communications, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll work closely with senior policy and organizational leaders while helping ensure state perspectives inform broader federal priorities. The role also involves building trusted relationships with state advocates, community organizations, policymakers, funders, and other stakeholders. You will contribute to high-impact policy materials and help translate complex legislative and regulatory developments into actionable strategies. This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced policy professional motivated by health equity, racial justice, and meaningful systems-level change.
