Associate Java Software Developer

We are looking for an Associate Software Developer for one of our Clients For our Client we are looking for a consultant o join the team responsible for our warehouse automation control system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid Java foundation who is eager to learn, grow, and build expertise in system integrations, warehouse automation, and large-scale logistics technology. In this role, you will work alongside experienced developers and architects to develop integrations that connect robots, conveyor systems, automated vehicles, and other automation equipment. You will receive hands-on training and mentoring while building the technical skills needed to become an expert in integration development and automation systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Java-based integrations under the guidance of senior team members. Assist in connecting warehouse automation, control systems, and enterprise applications. Learn and work with Kafka-based messaging and communication platforms. Support application deployment and configuration using Docker Compose. Participate in troubleshooting integration, application, and communication issues. Work with databases to develop queries and support application functionality. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business and operational requirements. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Continuously learn new technologies, integration patterns, and software engineering practices. Contribute to projects that support the evolution of our warehouse control systems. Required Qualifications Foundation in Java development through education, internships, personal projects, or professional experience. Fluent in English Understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Basic knowledge of APIs and software integration concepts. Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases. Eagerness to learn new technologies and solve technical challenges. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Interest in logistics, warehouse operations, or automation technology. Exposure to message-based systems such as Kafka. Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP. Experience with Docker, containers, or cloud technologies through coursework, internships, or personal projects. Experience with software development projects, internships, or open-source contributions. Start Date: September 1st 2026 or ASAP End Date: March 1st 2027 (Minimum 6 months) Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India (3 days in office + 2 days at home. 5 days in office in January 2027)
