The Sydney office is part of Business Sweden’s APAC team and works closely with colleagues across our global network and industry and service areas. We help Swedish companies grow in Australia and the wider region through strategic advice and hands-on market support. Our work spans areas including market entry and growth strategy, M&A, public affairs, supply chain, sales channel development, and customer and partner acquisition. We are now looking for an Associate to join our Sydney team. As an Associate, you will work as part of project teams supporting Swedish companies with their international growth. Your work will include: Conducting market, competitor and company analysis Supporting customer, partner and stakeholder interviews Developing insights and strategic recommendations for clients Preparing client presentations, workshops and project deliverables Supporting market entry, growth and commercial development projects Helping identify and develop potential customers, partners and business opportunities Working closely with colleagues across Business Sweden’s international network The role offers broad exposure across industries, clients and types of assignments, with the opportunity to combine strategic analysis with hands-on business development in an international environment. The role is based in Sydney , but you will work with our teams and clients around the world as required. We apply probationary employment in all applicable positions. You have a higher academic degree, preferably a Master of Science in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent. 1–3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in management consulting, an in-house strategy team or a similar analytical business role Experience from an international environment through work and/or studies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills A results-oriented mindset, strong drive and willingness to take on new challenges Strong communication and interpersonal skills A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively in diverse teams Cultural adaptability and an interest in international business Fluency in Swedish is considered a merit, but is not a requirement for the role. For this role, candidates must be either Swedish citizens or have the legal right to work in Australia. Does this describe you?
