Automotive Director of Field Development

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Automotive Director of Field Development based in the United States. This senior leadership role drives the performance, development, and consistency of field teams supporting automotive dealership operations. You will oversee the administration, onboarding, staffing, and performance of F&I Account Specialists while directly managing and developing District Managers. The position combines field leadership, coaching, operational oversight, customer service, and business development. You’ll work closely with regional and national leadership to strengthen training programs and improve field execution. A significant focus will be placed on performance assessments, revenue generation, and maintaining high service standards. With approximately 65% travel, this is a highly visible, hands-on role suited to an experienced automotive professional who thrives in a dynamic field environment.
