Azure Cloud / DevOps Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Azure consultant to support a growing technology company developing a no-code platform for industrial applications, IoT solutions and process digitalization. The company uses Microsoft Azure as a core part of its platform and customer solutions. They are looking for a trusted technical partner who can take ownership of the Azure environment, ensure reliable operations and help develop the platform's cloud capabilities over time. This is a flexible, on-demand assignment. The workload is expected to be higher initially, approximately 30–50%, before varying according to project needs. The assignment is fully remote. Key responsibilities Take ownership of the existing Azure environment, including operations, maintenance and continuous improvement. Manage and improve DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, version control and release management. Ensure appropriate cloud security, access management, monitoring and operational reliability. Support the development and deployment of new platform features and customer-specific solutions. Help integrate industrial IoT devices and hardware with cloud-based applications and services. Troubleshoot technical issues and act as a senior Azure specialist and sounding board for the internal development team. Identify opportunities to improve architecture, automation, scalability and maintainability. Become familiar with the existing Microsoft Azure Service Fabric environment and help maintain and evolve it. Required experience Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in production environments. Experience managing cloud infrastructure, deployments, security and operations. Practical knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, version control and infrastructure automation. Experience troubleshooting complex cloud environments and taking ownership of technical issues. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and provide clear technical recommendations. Comfortable working in a flexible consulting arrangement with a workload that varies over time. Meritorious experience Azure Service Fabric or experience with comparable distributed application platforms. IoT platforms, device integration or industrial technology. Microservices and distributed systems. C#/.NET and backend development. Infrastructure as Code, for example Terraform or Bicep. Cloud architecture, identity management, networking and security.
