Backend Developer

We're looking for engineers with strong backend programming fundamentals, whether your experience is in <strong>C#/.NET</strong> or other modern backend technologies such as <strong>Java or TypeScript (Node.js)</strong>. You'll have real ownership over your work and collaborate with a high-performing cross-functional team to deliver enterprise applications used by government agencies and commercial clients.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using C# and .NET.</p></li><li><p>Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend services.</p></li><li><p>Design and implement RESTful APIs and business logic.</p></li><li><p>Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code.</p></li><li><p>Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and application issues.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate closely with Frontend Developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects.</p></li><li><p>Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards.</p></li><li><p>Create and maintain technical documentation.</p></li><li><p>Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>2 years of professional software development experience.</strong></p></li><li><p>Experience developing backend applications or APIs.</p></li><li><p><strong>Experience with C# is preferred.</strong> Candidates with strong professional experience in <strong>Java or TypeScript (Node.js)</strong> are also encouraged to apply, provided they are willing to learn and build applications using <strong>.NET</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.</p></li><li><p>Experience with <strong>.NET Framework or .NET/.NET Core</strong> is highly preferred.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of REST APIs and relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.</p></li><li><p>Experience using Git for version control.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.</p></li><li><p>Comfortable working in an Agile development environment.</p></li><li><p>Good command of written and spoken English.</p></li><li><p>The role is based in <strong>Bandung, Indonesia</strong>, and requires working on-site.
