In this role, you will guide a backend team building the secure, reliable and scalable services at the core of iLOQ 5 Series+, while staying hands-on with the code yourself. This is a role for an experienced software professional who enjoys solving complex problems, takes ownership beyond writing code and wants to influence both technical solutions and the way software is developed.</span></p><p><span><strong>What you'll do</strong></span></p><p><span>As our Backend Development Lead, you will guide the day-to-day development work of a Backend software team while remaining closely involved in technical delivery.</span></p><p><span>You will:</span></p></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Lead and coordinate the team’s backend development activities</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Support the team in turning product and business priorities into clear, achievable technical plans and predictable delivery without losing sight of quality and long-term maintainability</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Participate hands-on in the design and implementation of backend services and APIs</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Facilitate technical discussions and help the team make well-considered architectural and implementation decisions</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Promote end-to-end ownership, including development, testing, releasing, monitoring and maintaining services</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Develop engineering practices related to code quality, reviews, test automation, CI/CD, security and observability, including the effective and responsible use of AI-assisted engineering tools</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Work closely with Product Owners, Software Architects, Test Leads, cloud specialists and other stakeholders</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Identify dependencies, risks and blockers, and drive their resolution together with the relevant stakeholders</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Coach team members, share knowledge and create an environment where people can learn and take responsibility</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>What you'll bring</strong></span></p></div><p><span>To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:</span></p><div><ul><li><p><span>Strong professional experience in backend software development, including leading, coordinating or facilitating the work of a development team</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Hands-on experience with C# and .NET or comparable backend technologies</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Experience with cloud-based software development, preferably in AWS environments</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>A good understanding of microservice architectures, APIs and distributed systems, databases, integrations and cloud-native development</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing and modern DevOps practices</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>The ability to combine technical considerations with customer, product and business needs</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>The confidence to make progress in a complex environment and help others do the same</span></p></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><p><span>A proactive and co
