Backend Engineering Manager

This is a senior engineering leadership opportunity focused on building and scaling critical backend capabilities for a cybersecurity platform protecting essential infrastructure. You will lead a team responsible for highly reliable microservices, distributed systems, data processing pipelines, and core platform components. The role combines deep technical expertise with people leadership, architectural direction, and strong cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with engineering leaders, technical leads, product managers, and other stakeholders to shape and deliver platform capabilities. The position also provides opportunities to remain hands-on when complex development, troubleshooting, or production issues require additional technical leadership. You will help cultivate engineering excellence, mentor technical talent, and strengthen the backend engineering community.
