Backend Software Engineer (Go)

Requirements: 5+ years of professional software development experience using Golang in production environments Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including database design and application integration Experience with NoSQL databases and data storage technologies Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs Experience with MQTT and asynchronous or event-driven communication patterns Strong experience developing and operating software in Linux environments Experience with Docker and containerized applications Experience with Git/GitHub and modern software development workflows Good understanding of software design principles, including SOLID, maintainable architecture, and clean code practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable mindset Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions, tasks, and responsibilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly proficient in English, both written and spoken Nice to have: Strong understanding of networking protocols, architectures, and network programming Familiarity with the Linux networking stack, routing, firewall management, and packet analysis tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark Experience developing or maintaining IoT platforms, connected device ecosystems, or embedded applications Knowledge of IoT and real-time communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, WebSockets, and WebRTC Familiarity with Matter and Thread, including their architecture, security, and implementation considerations Understanding of device provisioning, firmware-over-the-air (OTA) updates, and device lifecycle management Experience with edge computing, cloud-to-device integration patterns, telemetry collection, real-time data processing, and time-series databases Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures Experience with AWS, cloud services, and DevOps practices. Experience with SD-WAN, VPN, routing, or related networking technologies. Familiarity with Debian/Ubuntu, Linux application and service development, Bash, Unix, and CLI environments.
