Business Architect SAP

Assignment Description We are looking for an experienced Business Architect to support ongoing business transformation initiatives within an SAP landscape. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, Solution Architects and SAP teams to document, analyze and improve business processes across multiple functional areas. A key focus will be creating a clear understanding of current ways of working, defining future-state processes and ensuring alignment between business requirements, information flows and SAP-supported solutions. You will facilitate process-mapping workshops, analyze existing processes and system support, and identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities. The role also includes defining and maintaining business process models, capability maps and information models, as well as supporting process harmonization across organizations and markets. You will contribute to translating business needs into sustainable solutions and support the broader business architecture roadmap. The assignment also includes maintaining high-quality documentation such as process maps, business requirements, functional descriptions, information flows and governance documentation. You will also support change initiatives and contribute to wider business transformation programmes. Required Qualifications You have extensive experience working as a Business Architect, Business Analyst or Process Architect. You have proven experience documenting and modeling complex business processes. You have a strong understanding of SAP business processes and enterprise system landscapes. You have experience working with SAP S/4HANA and related business domains. You have hands-on experience with business process modeling, requirements management, information modeling, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management. You are able to understand both business objectives and technical constraints. You have strong analytical and communication skills. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Meritorious It is meritorious if you have experience from the automotive industry. A plus is knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF. It is meritorious if you have experience with process harmonization across multiple business units and countries. Experience with SAP Signavio or other process mining and documentation tools is considered an advantage. It is also meritorious if you have experience from large-scale ERP transformation programs. You are a structured and business-oriented architect with the ability to take a holistic view of processes, information and systems. You are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments and translating business strategy into clear process improvements and sustainable SAP-enabled capabilities.
