Business Controller

Assignment description We are looking for a Business Controller to support a global R&D organization within Electrics, Electronics and Software development. In this role, you will act as a finance business partner and contribute to effective steering, planning and decision-making across the organization. You will support and drive key financial processes, help ensure that financial targets are met and provide relevant insights to management teams. The R&D organization is undergoing significant changes in ways of working, systems and roles, and Controlling is evolving accordingly. You will contribute to the development and implementation of future financial management models, processes and tools in a global environment. Your responsibilities include financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial closing, analysis and reporting, KPI follow-up and presentations, as well as actively supporting cost development and financial performance. You will work closely with R&D functions and leadership teams and take an active role in global management forums. The assignment also involves broad collaboration across R&D Controlling and other finance functions. You will join a team of Business Controllers supporting a technology-driven development organization and work within a broad international network across finance and R&D. Qualifications: You have a Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field, combined with at least 5 years of experience in Business Controlling. You have proven ability to drive business performance through a structured, analytical and results-oriented approach. You have strong business acumen and a problem-solving mindset and are comfortable working in complex and changing environments. You have experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and management teams, preferably in an international environment. You are skilled at building trusted relationships and influencing decision-making across both finance and non-finance functions. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and collaborate effectively across different organizational levels. You have advanced analytical and systems skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI. You demonstrate a high level of integrity and have a genuine interest in understanding products, operations and key business drivers. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Meriting Experience with SAP is considered a strong advantage. Knowledge of Swedish is also considered a strong advantage.
