About the Role You will step into a key role where finance, controlling, and business development come together in a large-scale automotive R&D environment. The assignment focuses on improving how financial governance, planning, reporting, and decision-making work across organizational boundaries, while also supporting strategic initiatives that shape how the R&D organization operates. You will work close to senior stakeholders in a setting where transparency, structure, and clear priorities are essential. Job Description You will clarify and develop financial interfaces, roles, and responsibilities between the R&D organization and related business units. You will drive strategic finance and controlling initiatives that strengthen governance and support better business decisions. You will improve financial planning, reporting, and follow-up processes to increase quality and transparency. You will support prioritization of R&D investments together with commercial stakeholders. You will develop financial governance, management processes, and internal controls. You will analyze financial data, identify key drivers, improve data quality, and create clearer visibility into financial performance. You will identify and develop digital and AI-based solutions that improve financial processes and decision-making. You will coordinate financial activities related to externally funded R&D projects when relevant. Requirements Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering and Management, Engineering, or Economics At least 5 years of experience in project management and finance/controlling Experience in finance, controlling, or financial business development Strong skills in financial analysis and accounting Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional initiatives Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization and analytics tools Excellent English communication skills Nice to have Experience in finance, controlling, or financial business development within R&D, engineering, or another complex industrial environment Experience with external funding, including EU or national funding, financial reporting, funding regulations, or audit processes Knowledge of financial processes in a large industrial group environment Swedish, German, or Portuguese language skills What We Offer Permanent employment at Avaron AB Occupational pension Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year Application Selections are made on an ongoing basis – apply as soon as you can.
