Business Developer - Senior Professional

Business Developer – Finance & Controlling We are looking for an experienced Business Developer within Finance & Controlling for an assignment at a leading international industrial organization. In this role, you will be part of a Business Development and Strategy team, working at the intersection of finance, controlling, business development, and strategic project management. You will collaborate across organizational and functional boundaries to strengthen financial governance, improve planning and follow-up, and support strategic decision-making. This is a highly visible role where you will work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic initiatives that influence how the organization operates and develops. Key Responsibilities Clarify and develop financial interfaces, roles, and responsibilities across organizational units. Lead strategic finance and controlling initiatives and projects. Improve financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and follow-up processes. Support and drive prioritization of R&D investments together with relevant business stakeholders. Develop financial governance, management processes, and internal controls. Analyze financial data to identify key business drivers and opportunities for improvement. Improve data quality and increase transparency around financial performance. Identify and develop digital and AI-enabled solutions to improve financial processes and decision-making. Coordinate financial activities related to externally funded R&D projects when applicable. Collaborate with senior stakeholders across finance, business, R&D, and other functions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering & Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience within project management combined with finance and/or controlling. Solid experience within finance, controlling, or financial business development. Strong competence in financial analysis and accounting. Proven experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional initiatives. Experience with Power BI or similar analytics and data visualization tools. Excellent communication skills in English. Meriting Qualifications Experience within finance, controlling, or business development in R&D, engineering, automotive, manufacturing, or another complex industrial environment. Experience with externally funded projects, including EU or national funding. Knowledge of financial reporting, funding regulations, or audit processes. Experience working in a large international or matrix organization. Swedish, German, and/or Portuguese language skills.
