IKEA Supply leads four capabilities: Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, Procurement and Logistics Operations. In this context we are looking for You who has passion for people and supply chain, who enjoys working in an internationally diverse & complex environment and is driven by leading the work with Capability Area development roadmap, integrated planning, prioritization, sequencing. Doing so can lead through others, easily build strong relationships, create an atmosphere of trust, respect and togetherness. We are now looking for a Capability Area Planning Leader. Job Description You will be: Accountable for development and continuous management of the Capability Area roadmap in close alignment with the Process dimension, Core businesses and other IKEA companies Hold together the highest level of plan-making over the mid-long term, including prioritization, sequencing, and financial frame. Maintain awareness of the objectives and movements to be achieved by the different Capability areas within Inter IKEA through having a good understanding of the roadmaps for each area and the contribution to the E2E processes. Enable monitoring, tracking and report on the Capability area roadmap in collaboration with Operations management Roadmap Work across Capability Areas and initiatives within Inter IKEA, steering a successful development that meets business objectives and drives IKEA business results Lead the development of strategic analysis for the Capability Area to facilitate sequencing, scenario modeling and pace in roadmap. Orchestrate implementation of pre-requisites and help Capability area to define OKR's that contribute to strategic goals Lead the monitoring of execution and progress follow-up of roadmap initiatives. Regularly educate/communicate the progress of the Capability portfolio to the Business line/Line organizations and external touchpoints as necessary in close collaboration with partners in Process management, Core businesses and other IKEA companies following Inter IKEA governance and year cycle. Support the Operations Management Roadmap in developing the Roadmap/planning capabilities through frameworks, tools, ways of working and ways to track progress of the overall roadmap in terms of effort, costs, people and results. (Example Value stream analysis, Capability framework, breakdown of work...) Qualifications For the role of a Capability Area Planning Leader, your main capabilities, knowledge, and skills are: Deep understanding of the IKEA value chain, organisation, operating model, ways of working and total cost approach. Extensive knowledge of the assigned Capability Area and its contribution to end-to-end value creation. Strong capability to develop, align, maintain and embed roadmaps that deliver business objectives. Extensive knowledge of business planning, prioritisation, sequencing and portfolio management. Experience with product management teams, development processes and agile or Scrum ways of working. Strong analytical, tactical and planning skills, including scenario modelling, business architecture and value-chain optimisation. Ability to bring together complex information and translate business needs, strategies, data and technology into clear development plans. Proven ability to lead change, take ownership and deliver strong results with persistence and a positive mindset. Clear communicator and collaborative team player who synchronises development across capabilities, processes and countries. Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build trustful relationships and alliances at all levels.
