Do you thrive at the intersection of strategy, insight, and execution? If so, this could be the right opportunity for you. What you’ll do at Thule As a Category Manager, you will own a defined portfolio or key business initiative, developing strategies and plans that drive growth and long-term success. You will monitor market trends and competitive developments to identify new opportunities and understand changing consumer needs. You will drive the business plan and performance of your area, with responsibility for sales, profitability, forecasting, and follow-up. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Finance, you will ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic priorities. You will own and champion products and key initiatives across the organization, supporting go-to-market activities and ensuring teams have the information and tools needed for successful execution. Innovation is also an important part of the role. You will identify opportunities for new products and business initiatives, contribute to the innovation pipeline, and work closely with Product Development to bring ideas to market that meet consumer needs and support our commercial objectives. You will also contribute to improving ways of working and sharing best practices across the organization, helping to strengthen our product and category management capabilities. What you bring To be successful in this role, we believe you have some years of experience in product or category management, combined with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. You have experience across the product management lifecycle, from understanding market and consumer needs through development, commercialization, and performance follow-up. Experience from the outdoor industry, automotive, vehicle-related products, or another product-driven industry is beneficial. You are strategic, analytical, and commercially driven, with the ability to turn data and insights into clear priorities and actions. You are comfortable working with business performance, including sales, profitability, forecasting, and budgets. Strong experience with business intelligence tools such as QlikView, Qlik Sense, or similar platforms is important, as you will use data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and support business decisions. You are an effective cross-functional collaborator and comfortable working with teams across the organization. Experience from product development, product design, or engineering environments is an advantage. Highly organized and detail-oriented, you take ownership and manage multiple priorities with confidence. You communicate clearly and build strong relationships across functions and geographies. Why you should join Thule At Thule, we believe in strong teamwork both within your own team but also cross functional between teams. We strive to be an open and curious organization, sharing our knowledge and inspiring one another.
