We are now seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the African Market to lead and strengthen our operations across multiple countries on the African continent. This is a key executive role responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, project execution, business growth, and organizational performance while supporting our strategic ambitions. Key Responsibilities Lead Scandian's operations across African markets. Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Ensure successful execution and delivery of projects, contracts, and customer commitments. Manage and support managers, project teams, and operational staff. Monitor budgets, financial performance, and operational KPIs. Strengthen relationships with customers, partners, government stakeholders, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Support business development activities and contribute to market expansion opportunities. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in operations management. Proven experience managing operations across African countries. Strong understanding of infrastructure, utilities, development projects, construction, or related sectors. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and stakeholder relationships. Experience working with international organizations, governmental agencies, or development finance institutions is considered a strong advantage. Fluency in English is required.
