Client Operations Specialist hos Gale Force AB Location: Norrköping, Sweden (on-site with some remote flexibility) About OrbitMI and the role OrbitMI provides maritime software and services that help shipping companies improve operational performance, regulatory compliance, fuel efficiency, and decision-making. OrbitMI is looking for a Client Operations Specialist to join our growing team in Norrköping, working closely with the Gale Force team and supporting the delivery of our managed maritime services. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role at the centre of our daily operations. You will support vessels, operators, and shipowners using the Orbit Platform and our managed services, while acting as an important link between customers, maritime specialists, and our product and development teams. What you will do As a Client Operations Specialist, you will: Provide day-to-day support to vessels, operators, and shipowners using the Orbit Platform and our managed services. Support customers on maritime regulatory topics, including EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, and CII. Work as part of Client Operations, sharing knowledge, responsibilities, and workload across the team. Act as a key link between customers and internal product and development teams by identifying issues, clarifying requirements, and following up on solutions. Investigate and reproduce technical issues, document findings clearly, and contribute to practical fixes and service improvements where appropriate. Help improve working methods, customer support processes, and the continued development of our managed maritime services. What we are looking for You likely have: A maritime background, such as seagoing experience, shipping operations, maritime compliance, or similar industry exposure. Working knowledge of EU ETS, FuelEU Maritime, and CII, or a strong ability and interest in developing this expertise quickly. Confidence working directly with vessels, operators, and shipowners, as well as with internal operational and technical teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate operational questions into clear requirements and practical actions. Good technical aptitude, curiosity, and a structured approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an international environment. Based in, or willing to relocate to, Norrköping. Applicants must already have the legal right to live and work in Sweden. Familiarity with maritime software platforms, noon reporting, emissions reporting, or fleet performance tools. Basic scripting, data analysis, or coding experience, such as Python or SQL.
