Commercial Business Analyst

Assignment description We are looking for a Commercial Business Analyst for an assignment within pharmaceutical distribution. The organization is entering a larger transformation programme, currently in the design phase, including an SAP migration and the development of a cloud-based data foundation in Azure and Databricks. A key part of the target state is to enable structured data sharing with customers. This is a business-oriented analyst role at the intersection of business, process and data, with less focus on traditional requirements documentation and more focus on dialogue, process understanding and translation of customer needs into clear data requirements. In the role, you will engage with external customers to understand their data needs and define a common minimum data set that the engineering team can build against. You will work closely with engineering, contribute to the SAP transformation and support testing and verification of the delivery. The data domains include sales data, stock levels, out-of-stock information, narcotics-classified products and invoice data feeding the financial system. The role requires strong accuracy and traceability, as data errors can have both business and compliance consequences. Qualifications You have documented experience of direct customer dialogue, including working directly with customers rather than only in internal roles. You are experienced in negotiating with external parties and reaching alignment across different needs and expectations. You have experience with SAP and the business processes it supports. You have experience with data modelling. You have an understanding of distribution and logistics as a business area. You are comfortable working at the interface between process and technology and can translate needs and requirements in both directions. You are fluent in English. Meritorious You have Swedish language skills. You have experience from pharmaceutical distribution, life science or another regulated industry. You have experience from SAP migrations or other large transformation programmes. You are familiar with cloud data platforms, particularly Azure or Databricks. You have experience of data sharing with external parties. We are looking for a specialist rather than a generalist, with a profile that values depth over breadth. You are commercially minded and comfortable holding business conversations, not only requirements discussions. You can independently lead customer dialogues without close direction and have the structure needed to consolidate information from many parallel conversations into clear conclusions and actionable input.
