Role Description · Apply and enforce company commercial procedures, templates and Commercial Bulletins across the team. · Lead and support Quantity Surveyors at all levels, minimising commercial and contractual risk across assigned projects. · Support pre-qualification and tender submissions, including commercial responses, quotations and estimates, and take commercial ownership through project handover. · Lead project cost clinics, deliver agreed targets and keep the Commercial and Finance Directors informed of matters affecting profit margin. · Review and authorise subcontract and purchase orders, payment certificates and contract documentation within delegated authority, ensuring adequate detail and compliance with insurance, bond and warranty requirements. · Manage project risk, valuation schedules, cash flow, invoice approvals, monthly cost reporting, final accounts and retention recovery in line with contractual and company timetables. · Manage team performance, objectives, resourcing and recruitment requirements in liaison with the Commercial Directors. · Maintain a professional, collaborative approach and the highest standards of commercial confidentiality. · Apply the Company Health and Safety Policy and TSL Commercial procedures, carrying out duties with limited supervision.
