Job description: Let's introduce ourselves Cyber Defense Centre Operations protects the business through 24/7 cyber defence capabilities, including security monitoring, incident response, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and digital forensics. We also own and continuously enhance strategic security platforms and services, including SIEM, SOAR, endpoint protection, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP), to strengthen the organization's cyber resilience. What you'll do Responsible for investigating cyber threats, security incidents, and critical vulnerabilities, while coordinating response activities across stakeholders. The role leverages cyber threat intelligence to assess risks, support threat hunting, and drive timely containment and remediation to strengthen the organization's security posture. What you'll bring You would carry a Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field. You should bring 3+ years of experience in Security Operations (SOC), Incident Response, Threat Hunting, or Threat Intelligence. You should also bring experience coordinating and managing cyber security incidents. Some technical competencies you should bring would be a strong understanding of cyber threats, attack techniques, and vulnerability management. Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and security monitoring platforms as well a knowledge of cyber threat intelligence frameworks and methodologies (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain). You should also bring experience investigating security incidents, malware, phishing, and advanced threats. You would bring understanding of network, endpoint, cloud, and identity security technologies. You have a strong analytical and investigative mindset. You should have the ability to coordinate incident response across multiple stakeholders as well as excellent communication and reporting skills. You are capable to prioritize and manage multiple security events simultaneously and have a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating cyber risks. Preferred Certifications: GIAC (GCIH, GCFA, GCTI), CISSP, Security+, CySA+, or equivalent certifications.
