The Work: Lead a matrixed organization of 60+ data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, AI developers, and cloud platform engineers Oversee team staffing, recruitment, and professional development, ensuring team members are trained and upskilled in emerging technologies and methodologies Identify and recommend innovative data integration approaches, platform technologies, and tools to support the client's evolving needs Manage and maintain the AI Innovation pipeline, driving the development of forward-thinking AI solutions. Provide strategic oversight to a team of 12 data specialists delivering solutions on the Databricks platform Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to align data and AI initiatives with organizational goals Here's What You Need: Proven experience in leading large data and AI teams, preferably in a client-facing environment Deep expertise in data integration approaches and strong knowledge of emerging data platform technologies and AI advancements Application of data modeling or LLMs to address client specific problems or expected outcomes Hands-on experience with data modeling Extensive use of LLMs and other AI technology and tooling Experience with Databricks and proven ability to oversee platform delivery teams Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to develop and execute strategies for talent acquisition, training, and upskilling Bonus Points If: Advanced Degree 15+ years of industry experience Motivated and proactive, with a desire to understand and address complex areas Curiosity for learning about new technology, industry best practices, and areas of risk, analyzing and turning new insights into concrete action Commitment to delivering tangible outcomes for customers and stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication/interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
