Data Analytics Architect

Assignment description We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Architect to support the Data Analytics domain. The assignment focuses on establishing and maturing architecture, information models, data models, integration patterns and governance processes that support business requirements and long-term strategic objectives. In this role, you will help define target architectures, document future-state solutions and ensure alignment between data, integrations and business needs. The role combines architecture leadership, hands-on design work, advisory responsibilities and capability development. You will work closely with managers, project leads, product owners and domain stakeholders to provide architectural guidance and support decision-making. A key part of the assignment is to strengthen internal architectural capabilities through structured mentoring, coaching and knowledge transfer, helping designated team members develop towards greater independence. You will establish and develop architecture and integration patterns within the Data Analytics domain, design information and data models, define governance processes and architectural principles, and maintain target-state documentation, integration flows and system landscape architecture. You will also provide strategic and technical guidance, support architectural governance and ensure alignment with established standards and principles. Qualifications You have a relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience. You have strong knowledge of information modelling and data modelling. You have a strong understanding of integration architecture and integration design. You have extensive experience working as a Senior IT Architect. You have experience within Data & Analytics architecture. You have experience designing information models, data models and integration architectures. You have experience documenting architecture, target states and system landscapes. You have experience establishing or supporting governance frameworks and architectural standards. You have good understanding of governance processes and architectural principles. You have experience creating and maintaining architectural documentation and target-state designs. You have experience providing architectural advisory services to senior stakeholders. You have experience mentoring, coaching and developing internal team members. You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills. You can communicate and document complex architectural concepts in a clear and structured way. You are comfortable working across both strategic and operational levels. Meriting experience It is meriting if you have experience within large-scale Data & Analytics environments. A plus is experience with AI agents and agentic systems. It is also meriting if you have experience from enterprise-scale architecture environments. You are a senior and trusted architecture professional with a structured and analytical mindset. You can navigate complex environments and translate business requirements into sustainable architectural solutions. You are communicative and collaborative, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different organizational levels. You enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting others through coaching and mentorship. You combine strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach and are proactive in creating clarity and direction across complex dependencies and priorities.
