At the moment we’re expanding our Data team, so we’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer, for our client in the sports, entertainment and technology industry. Requirements 6+ years of professional experience as a Data engineer Relevant engineering degree or education in IT or Computer Engineering Data Engineering & Data Modeling Strong skills in Dimensional Modeling (Kimball/Inmon), with experience in discovering requirements together with client stakeholders Previous experience of building multi-tenant solutions with data segregation, access control and variants in models. Proficient in SQL, python and bash ETL/ELT & Data Pipelines Previous experience of ETL/ELT development, pipeline design and setting up the needed architecture. Can establish best practices for agents and other team members Previous experience with the open source tools dbt, Apache Airflow and Dagster Experience of ingesting data from different kinds of sources, files, tables, APIs. Data Quality & Governance Experience in Data lineage and Metadata management is preferable. Cloud & Big Data Experience of Google Cloud Platform specifically BigQuery and preferably Dataflow Other As developer you are expect know your way around supporting tools such as Git, GitHub and Docker. Experience of Kubernetes and Terraform is a plus Language requirements: Fluent in English.
