Data Platform Lead

Assignment Description We are seeking a Data Platform Lead to ensure a secure, scalable data platform, from raw data to actionable insights, and help integrate data, analytics and AI/ML into services and processes, working with data and platform teams. You are a creative, entrepreneurial, communicative and self-driven team player who follows technology developments, can help define best-practice architectures for end-to-end data solutions with others, supports quality, performance and scalable delivery, and can help guide technology choices. In an AWS-focused hybrid cloud environment, you will own the Terraform codebase and Databricks lakehouse and infrastructure architecture, ensuring technical integrity, efficient resource use and lifecycle and disaster recovery best practices. With platform engineers, you will manage access, audit usage, support federated teams and improve maintenance. You will also design batch, fast API and event-stream integrations for high-concurrency telematics applications, establish a unified access-control framework, translate business privacy policies into data masking and security measures, and establish naming standards and automated data-contract checks without hindering domain teams. Required Qualifications Solid experience designing and deploying large-scale cloud data platforms. Proficiency in modern data architecture principles. Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Spark, Python and SQL. Experience designing secure cloud infrastructure, serving layers and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
