Company description: Ericsson AB Job description: Join our Team About this opportunity: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level PCB Layout Engineer to join our Hardware Design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop practical experience in PCB design, layout, and electronics product development while working closely with experienced engineers. What you will do: Create PCB layouts based on electrical schematics and design requirements. Perform component placement and PCB routing under the guidance of senior engineers. Assist with multilayer PCB layout and design-rule implementation. Create and maintain PCB footprints and component libraries. Apply basic principles of signal integrity, power distribution, grounding, and EMI/EMC. Prepare PCB manufacturing files, drawings, and documentation. Support prototype PCB assembly, testing, and debugging. Identify and resolve basic PCB layout and manufacturing issues. Participate in design reviews and implement feedback from senior engineers. Work with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams. Follow company PCB design standards and relevant industry guidelines. The skills you bring: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field. Fresh graduate or up to 1–2 years of relevant experience. Basic understanding of electronic circuits and PCB design principles. Ability to read and understand schematics and electronic component datasheets. Familiarity with PCB design software such as Cadence or similar tools. Basic understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes. Good attention to detail and willingness to learn. Good problem-solving and communication skills.
