DevOps Platform Engineer

For our client we are looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer We are looking for a senior DevOps Platform Engineer to join the Developer Experience area at the client. The role focuses on building, improving, and operating platform capabilities that support software development across the organisation. You will work hands-on with technologies and practices such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud platforms, and container-based environments. The role includes engineering, as well as operation of critical systems, with a strong focus on reliability, automation, and standardisation. Required areas of expertise include: Operation and maintenance of business-critical systems Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) Scripting and automation Server operating systems (Linux and/or Windows) GitHub and modern source control workflows Artifact management (e.g., Artifactory or similar tools) Cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) Containers and Kubernetes You will be part of a shared responsibility model, contributing to ongoing maintenance, support, and operational duties (including on-call or shift-based support). The role involves close collaboration with developers, architects, and other engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly platform capabilities.
