About the Role You will shape the electrical architecture behind hybrid and fully electric powertrain solutions in an advanced automotive environment. The role covers the full span from early system design to production readiness, with a clear focus on scalability, performance, safety, and robust integration between hardware and software. You will work closely with specialists across electronics, software, and component development, and your decisions will influence strategic technology choices for future products. Job Description You will define and develop system architecture for electrical and electronic systems across hybrid and electric powertrain solutions. You will translate product and customer needs into tailored requirements for new products. You will drive integration and scalability across subsystems, ECUs, inverters, and other critical hardware. You will collaborate with component owners and system experts to align design decisions with system-level requirements. You will address technical challenges related to communication network design, EMC impact, topology optimization, load balancing, and signal interactions within the vehicle. You will ensure that the architecture supports automotive safety, performance, and cybersecurity requirements. You will contribute to the industrialization of electrical systems from initial concept through production readiness. You will act as a central technical expert for electrical architecture in dialogue with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Requirements You have a Master’s degree, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. You have a proven track record in defining and developing electrical system architecture within the automotive industry. You have strong knowledge of inverter design, ECU design, communication protocols, and relevant industry standards such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434. You have a deep technical understanding of EMC challenges, load balancing, and signal interactions within vehicles. You are comfortable collaborating across hardware and software disciplines and driving integration together with component owners and system experts. You work in a proactive and structured way and can manage complex technical requirements. Nice to have Experience from larger automotive organizations is valuable.
