About the role We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer for an assignment with one of our clients in the automotive industry. You'll join a skilled team developing advanced steering systems that improve vehicle performance, safety and the driver's experience. You'll work across the whole product lifecycle, from requirements and system design to implementation, testing, release and ongoing improvement of steering functions used in commercial vehicles around the world. What you'll do Design, develop and integrate embedded software Analyse requirements and write functional specifications Implement, test, verify and troubleshoot software Handle software releases and maintenance Develop with functional safety and cybersecurity in mind Work with engineering teams and suppliers around the world Test in vehicles, calibrate features and tune functions Drive ongoing improvements and take part in technical discussions and decisions You'll work closely with software and mechatronics engineers, system architects and verification teams, in a team that shares knowledge and cares about doing good engineering. Who you are You're an experienced engineer with a strong interest in embedded systems, automotive technology and software development. You like solving complex technical problems together with colleagues from different disciplines. You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly and do well in a team where everyone keeps learning. Requirements B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control Systems or a related field 5+ years of experience in embedded software development Strong experience with MATLAB and Simulink Experience with AUTOSAR integration and Vector DaVinci Hands-on experience with C++ or C# Knowledge of CANoe and CANalyzer Also Git Rapid prototyping and dSPACE tools SystemWeaver Diagnostics and UDS Basic understanding of ISO 26262 Experience in vehicle dynamics, steering systems or advanced driver functions Automotive cybersecurity Experience from commercial vehicle development B driving license, C/CE is an advantage Swedish is a great advantage Who we are At Mpya Sci & Tech, we believe in a sustainable working life, and we’re living a culture where you can: Be DedicatedBe Brave and CuriousBe Inclusive and Allowing We believe that real talent lies in those who dare to keep growing throughout life.
