Responsibilities: Perform noise modeling and analysis for industrial, infrastructure, or environmental projects. Support air quality modeling and environmental compliance projects, as needed. Develop and manage modeling inputs using GIS, AutoCAD, and other data sources. Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation for permits and compliance measures. Work on environmental modeling / compliance projects and ensure adherence to project scope and schedule. Support small-scale project management, including monitoring timelines, budgets, and scope under the guidance of senior staff. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Acoustics, Physics, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of professional experience in environmental modeling, air quality, or a related technical field. Experience with one or more of the following: Noise modeling software (e.g., SoundPLAN) Air dispersion modeling (e.g., AERMOD) AutoCAD or GIS tools for spatial analysis and modeling support. Familiarity with environmental regulations and regulatory processes (e.g., noise ordinances, Clean Air Act programs). Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with clients, contractors, and team members.
