EX Inspector – Gas Turbines (Oil & Gas)

We at WeQuel are now looking for an experienced Ex-certified inspector in Finspång, where you will become an important part of the client’s inspection work, focusing on gas turbines and associated equipment for oil and gas applications. You will carry out detailed Ex inspections, verify compliance with explosion-protection requirements and document your findings. Internal technical support and product expertise will be provided. Your tasks: Detailed Ex inspections in accordance with IEC/EN 60079-17 Inspection of gas turbines and associated equipment for oil and gas applications Verification of compliance with applicable explosion-protection requirements Identification and assessment of deviations Documentation of inspection results in English You work independently on site while collaborating closely with the client’s technical specialists and product experts. Requirements: Valid CompEx Ex01–Ex04, IECEx CoPC, or equivalent Ex certification covering detailed inspection Experience inspecting electrical installations in hazardous areas within oil and gas applications Good knowledge of the IEC/EN 60079 series, particularly IEC/EN 60079-14 and IEC/EN 60079-17 Experience with Ex d, Ex e, Ex i, Ex p and associated field installations Ability to assess compliance findings and document inspection results in English Meritorious: Experience with gas turbines, rotating equipment, or offshore/onshore oil and gas facilities Familiarity with ATEX and IECEx requirements Assignment details: Start: 2026-11-02 – End: 2027-05-01 Workload: 100% Remote: 100% ONSITE Location: Finspång Number of positions: 4 Last application date: As soon as possible We offer: At WeQuel, you become part of a consultant team that values people first – we believe success is created through commitment, collaboration and development.
