Expert Frontend Developer (also java)

We are looking for an Expert Fullstack Developer with focus in Frontend for our client. The Mission The engineers at our client are committed to developing 100% fossil-free, 100% safe products. As a part of our client's digital transformation, the team is developing the next generation of tools to manage the product platform, aiming to support the engineers on this challenging journey. The goal is to reshape the user experience with much better assistance and help automate both small and complex tasks. What you will do As a Frontend Software Engineer, the candidate will have the opportunity to develop the frontend of these new tools and bring a new level of user experience to our client's engineers. In this role, the candidate will be hands-on with coding and also help set the standard for the frontend solution design. As the team is mainly focused on back-end development today, the candidate will be responsible for initiating, driving, and leading frontend initiatives – of course, with the support of the team members. The candidate will also have great support from our client's UX team and Frontend Architects. Who are we, your new colleagues? The team is co-located in Gothenburg, Sweden. In the product team, there is an open and creative dialogue, always looking for new and better ways to solve user needs. By gathering all needed skills in the same team, the team can take full responsibility for the product. We think you have… Several years of experience in developing complex web applications with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, and TypeScript. Experience in automated workflows using Azure and GitHub Actions. Knowledge of how to design web applications with a security focus from the start. Knowledge of optimizing page loading times as well as responsive UI. Experience working in an agile team. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, and preferably Swedish as well. Nice to have… Knowledge in developing with Web Components. Knowledge in Bootstrap, CSS-in-JS, Styled Components, and Tailwind. Knowledge in UX design best practices, such as Lean UX and Design Thinking. Knowledge in asynchronous programming, microservice architecture, cloud services, and test automation frameworks. Knowledge in backend development, primarily Java. Knowledge in designing REST APIs. Experience with the Spring framework.
