Factory Systems Program Manager Robotics – Digital Factory Transformation About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced and highly structured Factory Systems Program Manager for a major industrial transformation program in Västerås. The organization is undergoing an extensive factory transformation involving manufacturing, logistics, digitalization, automation, IT/OT infrastructure, and production systems. As Factory Systems Program Manager, you will take responsibility for coordinating and driving a broad portfolio of factory and production systems required to successfully bring a new industrial environment into operation. You will join a dedicated program team working toward a clear objective: successful factory Go Live. The overall program consists of several parallel and interconnected workstreams covering areas such as assembly, logistics, automation, infrastructure, factory systems, MES, SAP, warehouse automation, and OT/IT integration. Your role will be to create structure, transparency, governance, and delivery discipline across the production systems portfolio. The assignment requires close collaboration across multiple projects, business functions, systems, suppliers, and implementation partners. A key part of the role is understanding how different software solutions, production technologies, and operational processes come together to form an integrated end-to-end factory environment. Key Responsibilities As Factory Systems Program Manager, you will: Establish and maintain an integrated digitalization roadmap and portfolio dashboard. Drive program governance, planning cycles, status reviews, and executive reporting. Track milestones, dependencies, critical paths, risks, decisions, and actions across multiple workstreams. Maintain RAID logs and proactively drive risk mitigation and escalation. Monitor budgets, forecasts, actual costs, resource utilization, and external spending. Maintain strong scope control and ensure structured change management. Coordinate stakeholders across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT/IS, automation, suppliers, and implementation partners. Support vendor management and follow up on agreed delivery commitments. Coordinate testing and validation activities to ensure end-to-end functionality across the factory environment. Identify and manage dependencies between production systems, digital solutions, infrastructure, and operational processes. Prepare high-quality presentations and decision material for Steering Committees and senior management. Support digitalization leadership in maintaining portfolio visibility, delivery predictability, and overall program control. Your Profile We are looking for an experienced and results-driven program professional with: Proven experience as a Program Manager, Program Lead, Project Manager, or Project Lead in complex IT or systems implementation projects, preferably within manufacturing or production environments. Experience in program management, PMO, digital transformation, or large-scale IT/OT initiatives. Strong experience in project governance, financial management, portfolio reporting, risk management, and executive communication. Solid understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP ECC, and other production-related systems. Ability to quickly understand complex system landscapes where multiple software solutions together form an integrated factory system. Good understanding of shop-floor operations and industrial automation, including PLCs and machine integration. Experience managing integration projects involving multiple systems, vendors, and implementation partners. Knowledge of testing and validation processes required to secure end-to-end functionality. Experience working closely with senior leaders, management teams, and Steering Committees. Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive progress in complex and dynamic environments. A highly structured way of working with strong attention to quality and delivery reliability. Excellent analytical, organizational, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English. Personal Attributes You are proactive and pragmatic and naturally create structure and clarity in complex and fast-changing environments.
