Finance & Entrepreneurship Trainee

JOOL Group is looking for a highly motivated Finance & Entrepreneurship Trainee to join our team and provide analytical and operational support across multiple projects within the JOOL Group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with different businesses and projects within the JOOL Group, gaining broad hands-on experience in finance, investments, and entrepreneurship. The position is designed for an ambitious and analytical individual who wants to develop a well-rounded understanding of how businesses operate and grow. Your responsibilities will vary depending on current business needs and may include financial analysis, investment-related research, financial modelling, operational improvements, and support with strategic and entrepreneurial projects. You will work across different business functions and organizations, meaning that no two days are likely to be the same. The role requires a high degree of flexibility, initiative, and willingness to take on new challenges. You will be expected to work on-site at the location of the relevant project and to travel both within Sweden and internationally when required. Key Responsibilities Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and research Assist with financial modelling and quantitative analysis Support portfolio construction and investment analysis Contribute to business development and entrepreneurial projects Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency Provide analytical and operational support across different projects and business areas Work independently on assigned projects while collaborating closely with colleagues and project teams Qualifications Advanced academic degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field Strong analytical and quantitative skills Excellent written and spoken English Strong interest in finance, investments, and entrepreneurship 0–2 years of professional experience in finance, investment, consulting, or a related field Experience from a smaller or entrepreneurial organization is considered an advantage International work or study experience is considered an advantage Personal Attributes Highly motivated, proactive, and results-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment Strong attention to detail and ability to work analytically Flexible and willing to take on responsibilities outside a narrowly defined role Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and project requirements Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required by the role Location & Travel The position is based in Sweden. The role involves substantial travel, both domestically and internationally, depending on current project requirements. The successful candidate must be willing and able to work on-site wherever assigned.
