Finance Operation Analyst

What you will do: Indirect Tax Filing: Prepare indirect tax filings accurately and timely. State Registration Filings : Work with the company’s filing agent to ensure various state reports are filed accurately and timely. Member Reimbursements & Escheatment: Own the member reimbursement process, including processing physical checks, performing month-end reconciliations of the outstanding check list, and managing the company’s escheatment process. Cash Management & Reconciliations: Clear daily cash transactions and prepare comprehensive month-end cash account reconciliations. Corporate Credit Card Program: Manage corporate credit card activity by coding and booking expenses accurately and performing month-end card reconciliations. What you will bring to SmithRx: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1–3 years of hands-on corporate accounting or operational accounting experience. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (US GAAP) and general ledger operations. Demonstrated proficiency with cash reconciliations, expense processing, and multi-state/corporate compliance tasks. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet key monthly deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with a track record of effective collaboration across internal teams and third-party vendor partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and experience with/ability to quickly learn modern accounting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct).
