Finance Process Consultant – AI & Automation

We are looking for a pragmatic Finance Process Consultant with experience in business process improvement, automation, and AI-enabled workflows. The consultant will support the finance organization in identifying opportunities to streamline processes, implement practical AI-supported solutions, and drive efficiency improvements across key finance functions. This role is focused on applying AI and automation in business processes through no-code and low-code platforms rather than software development or AI engineering. Responsibilities Identify automation and AI opportunities across finance processes, including financial close, reporting, controlling, and FP&A. Analyze and optimize existing finance workflows and business processes. Configure and implement AI-enabled workflows using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or similar no-code/low-code solutions. Build and test proofs of concept to validate business value. Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize initiatives. Support the development of a practical roadmap for Finance process automation and AI adoption. Drive adoption of new ways of working and support business users throughout implementation. Required Experience Background in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Transformation. Experience working with finance processes and reporting environments. Experience in process improvement, digitalization, automation, or business transformation initiatives. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or similar no-code/low-code platforms. Ability to translate business challenges into practical automation solutions. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Fluent in English. Preferred Experience Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar. Familiarity with Power Query and data analysis tools. Exposure to AI-supported business processes and workflow automation within Finance. Experience working in international organizations.
