Fixed Plant Electrician

Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations, procedures, and standards; ensure compliance with legislative requirements and workplace health and safety. Work Planning & Execution: Plan, prioritise, and execute tasks as per daily work orders, including corrective maintenance and capital works projects. Equipment Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and testing on fixed plant and associated electrical equipment, including 12V and 24VDC systems and CCTV apparatus. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, complete log book entries, provide progress updates, and report incidents in a timely manner. Supervision & Training: Oversee apprentices, including log book sign-offs, and foster knowledge-sharing within the team. Shutdowns & Coordination: Assist with shutdown procedures, LOTO implementation, and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers. Housekeeping & Site Maintenance: Ensure site cleanliness, maintain MCC areas, and uphold high housekeeping standards. Autonomous & Teamwork Capabilities: Work independently while coordinating with other teams and departments when required.
