Fixed Plant Fitter

Responsibilities: Routine maintenance and repairs for fixed plant equipment to ensure continuous operation.  Breakdown response and fault diagnosis to minimise downtime at the Port, including responding to trailer tipping issues. Component replacements and mechanical adjustments to improve plant efficiency.  Preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce failures.  Collaboration with boilermakers and electricians on major repairs and infrastructure upgrades.  Required Skill and Experience Australian recognised Trade Certificate Work Safely at Heights Ticket Confined Space Ticket Current C Class Driver’s Licence Meet all pre-employment requirements, including medical, drug and alcohol screening, and National Police Clearance.
