Forward Deployed Engineer

Validio is the agentic data management platform that automates data quality, lineage, and cataloging — so enterprises can finally trust the data behind their analytics, AI, and reporting. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you're who we send in when the problem is hardest and the customer matters most. You'll embed with our largest customers and make Validio work in the reality of their data. Part engineer, part trusted advisor — you'll design and build production-grade solutions on Validio, own deployments end to end, and turn what you learn on the ground into a better product. What you'll do - Embed with our biggest customers to solve their hardest data problems - Design and build production data pipelines and integrations on Validio - Own deployments from kickoff through to a stable, adopted solution - Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Customer Success and Engineering - Turn customer reality into product feedback and reusable solutions What you'll bring - A strong engineering background (data engineering, backend, or similar) - Fluency with the modern data stack, and especially SQL - Comfort in front of customers, translating between their teams and ours - An ownership mindset — you scope, build, and ship with autonomy Bonus points for - Experience with data quality, observability, or governance - A consulting, solutions, or forward-deployed background - Time spent in a startup or scale-up Why Validio Founded in Sweden in 2019, we're trusted by data-driven enterprises like Nordea, Canva, and Truecaller.
