Forwarder to Quintus hos Norén & Lindholm AB Quintus Technologies is looking for a Forwarder to join our logistics team in Västerås. Here, you will work with international project logistics, coordinating shipments of advanced high-pressure systems to customers around the world. Our equipment often requires carefully planned transport solutions, detailed documentation and close collaboration between several parties. You will become part of a collaborative logistics team where you have the opportunity to take responsibility, develop your expertise and contribute to successful deliveries worldwide. About the role As a Forwarder at Quintus Technologies, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating international shipments, with a particular focus on project logistics and customs-related matters. You will work closely with project managers, production, purchasing, external freight partners and customs authorities to find suitable transport solutions, ensure compliance with customs regulations and secure efficient, accurate and timely deliveries. Customs management will be a key focus area of the role , where you will take an active part in developing customs procedures, handling customs-related documentation and staying up to date with international trade regulations. Your main responsibilities will include: Requesting, evaluating and comparing transport quotations and selecting suitable freight forwarders. Preparing and managing shipping documentation, packing lists and product labels. Handling Letters of Credit (L/C) and ensuring that the required shipping documentation is accurate and complete. Managing customs documentation, import shipments and relevant import/export requirements. Maintaining accurate shipping records and updating information in relevant systems. Coordinating external warehousing and storage solutions when needed. Taking greater ownership of customs-related matters, proactively developing customs procedures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Who are you? We believe you are someone who enjoys working with logistics and takes pride in making sure that everything is handled correctly. You are structured, thorough and service-minded, with a natural ability to keep track of details and deadlines. You enjoy coordinating different activities, communicating with people and finding solutions when unexpected challenges arise. You are comfortable taking responsibility for your work and understand the importance of accuracy, particularly when dealing with international shipping documentation and customs requirements. We believe you have: Education in logistics, freight forwarding or international trade, preferably from a vocational college, or equivalent practical experience. Knowledge of international transportation, shipping documentation and logistics processes. Good understanding of customs procedures and import/export requirements. An interest in international trade, transportation and logistics. Good communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken. Experience in freight forwarding, project logistics, Letters of Credit (L/C) or ERP systems is highly valuable.
