Founding Deployment Strategist

ABOUT THE ROLE This is a founding-level role at a Y Combinator–backed enterprise AI startup, working directly with the CEO to lead the European expansion from Munich. You'll be the person who turns large enterprises into AI-native operators — combining hands-on agent development, executive-level stakeholder management, and team-building into one high-ownership position. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the European rollout end-to-end, partnering closely with the CEO on strategy and execution. - Diagnose high-leverage AI opportunities within enterprise customers and prioritise the highest-value use cases. - Build initial agents and workflows to prove value, then scale adoption organisation-wide. - Run agent hackathons and coach C-suite stakeholders on AI transformation and rollout strategy. - Navigate complex internal politics within customer organisations to find champions and remove blockers. - Represent the voice of the customer to product and engineering, advocating for the features that matter. - Hire, mentor, and shape a growing European team as the company scales. - Continuously automate your own workflows using the platform's agent capabilities. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Deep, hands-on experience shipping AI agents, workflows, or production ML/AI features in enterprise environments. - Strong grasp of model selection, routing, evaluation design, data residency, and integration architecture for enterprise AI deployments. - Proven track record driving adoption and managing renewals/expansion in large, complex organisations. - Experience building and leading cross-functional deployment teams, including hiring and mentoring. - Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and influence outcomes across executive and operational levels. - Commercially sharp, with a clear understanding of how deployment work connects to revenue outcomes. - High ownership, high agency, low ego — a bias for action and rapid prioritisation. - Native-level German fluency (required); based in Munich or willing to relocate.
